    Awesome Italian sandwich! I got the garbage grinder without peppers or tomato. I was surprised by the sauce, but it's also great flavor and texture. They make to order so get there early for lunch for a shorter wait time. It was still awesome after taking it to-go! Not soggy and was still warm.

    best sandwiches in town! service is always excellent too! I've been coming here since early 90's and they have always been consistent. will always keep coming back, little hole in the wall place is a landmark for Oregon.

    This place does not really need another review....it is well appreciated and frequented because the sandwiches are so delicious and the staff are genuinely engaged with their customers. In fact, 90% of the customers who came in during my wait, they knew by first name (about 15 people in 20 minutes). There is some outdoor seating and 5 stools inside to eat at, but I would suggest ordering for takeout. I would also call 30-40 minutes before you want to go pick up your order because there always seems to be a wait. Again, because the sandwiches are soooo good.
